No, cyberpsychology and cybersecurity are related, but distinct fields. Cyberpsychology focuses on the psychological aspects of human interaction with technology. It studies how people think, feel and behave in online environments, including social media, virtual reality and online communities.
Cybersecurity deals with the protection of computer systems, networks and data from cyberattacks. It involves technical measures, policies and practices to secure systems from hackers, malware and other threats.
While both deal with the digital world, cyberpsychology is about understanding human behavior online, while cybersecurity is about protecting the systems and data in that space. The two can intersect in areas like understanding the psychology behind hacking or online manipulation.

We will consider additional related degrees if you have taken three programming or programming-related courses.
The main steps for the traditional path to teacher certification in Virginia are:

- Pass the required teacher certification exams
- Apply for a teaching certificate or license
- Upgrade your license, if desired
Here are the steps for the traditional pathway to teacher licensure in Virginia. The state offers three types of licenses for aspiring teachers:
- Provisional license (3 years): This non-renewable license is for new teachers holding a bachelor's degree who are employed by a school division but have not yet met the requirements for full licensure.
- Collegiate professional license (10 years): This license is granted to teachers who have completed all necessary licensing requirements.
- Postgraduate professional license (10 years): This license is available to teachers who hold a collegiate professional license and have earned a graduate degree from an accredited institution.
No, the technical license is not the same thing and does not work for the programs requiring a teaching license.
No, this degree is only for applicants who currently hold a teaching license in math. This program is designed for education professionals who wish to gain additional knowledge and skills in math instruction. This is not a career-switcher program that leads to initial licensure.
The internship component requires students to complete an internship in elementary, secondary and central office level leadership. Students will be paired with a supervisory educational leader and conduct a specified number of hours working with the leader to learn the school leadership experience. Students will be required to complete assignments and reflect on their experience throughout the internship. The internship is completed over the course of 6 credit hours.
The Principal Preparation program is designed to add an endorsement to a Collegiate or Postgraduate Professional Virginia teaching license. Students without either of these licenses are not eligible for enrollment, as the program may not lead to a principal license in other states.
