Library

NSU Online students can access the Lyman Beecher Brooks Library’s vast collection of books, multimedia resources, research materials and more. If you have questions or need assistance locating resources, please don’t hesitate to contact a librarian by chat or email.

Blackboard Learn Technical Support

NSU Online courses are conducted with Blackboard Learn, a virtual classroom interface designed for distance learning. For assistance with Blackboard, please email [email protected] or call 757-823-8678 and select Option 1.

Tutoring

The Learning Assistance Programs (LAP) through the Dr. Patricia Lynch Stith Student Success Center offers a variety of tutoring and mentoring services to all NSU Online students. Take advantage of these services by making your appointment today.

Writing Center

The NSU Writing Center provides individualized writing assistance to online students across all disciplines. Our professional writing consultants will provide strategies for improving writing and feedback on documents in any discipline: essays, research papers, personal statements, summary reports, resumes, cover letters, emails, and more. Career Center

Handshake is Norfolk State University’s online career services management system that provides NSU Online students and alumni access to full-time jobs (entry-level and experienced hire) as well as internships. Graduation

Students who will complete all degree requirements must apply for graduation by the application deadline date for the semester in which they intend to graduate. For additional information regarding commencement, please visit the Graduation page.
